As the difference between eating and starving, work can be our saviour. But alienation, dissatisfaction, anxiety and boredom haunt us. There are also those of us who are denied access, segregated in the workplace, or employed precariously. This episode is about imagining alternatives to waged labour and its strictly policed boundaries, about boredom and the alienating lack of autonomy of toil.
